Cecilia Awarded Clean Tech Demonstration Grant by New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation, and Technology
Cecilia has been selected as one of 11 recipients for a Pilot Clean Tech Demonstration Grant from the New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation, and Technology (CSIT). This competitive program aims to accelerate the commercialization and deployment of innovative clean technologies by supporting New Jersey-based companies developing solutions to avoid emissions and pollutants across a range of target areas, including chemicals and advanced materials.
Cecilia will use the $250,000 grant to support operations of its Pilot Demonstration Unit (PDU), a key component in scaling the company’s transformative circular technology. With the capacity to process five kilograms of industrial waste plastic daily, the PDU builds on Cecilia’s successful lab-scale prototype and a proof-of-concept developed in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy. The PDU operations bring Cecilia one step closer to redefining the life cycle of plastic waste and creating a more sustainable future.
